From 1 November 2026, guests at ananea Madivaru Maldives get an Island Concierge: one familiar person who greets them, helps plan their days and says goodbye, without the formality of a butler.
ananea Madivaru Maldives in North Ari Atoll is changing how it looks after guests. From 1 November 2026, each guest is paired with an Island Concierge, a single point of contact who follows your stay from arrival to departure.
How it works
Your Island Concierge meets you when you arrive, checks in with you over breakfast and helps with whatever you want to do that day: a dinner table, a spa slot, watersports, an excursion or a celebration. Rather than waiting at a desk, they spend their time around the beaches, pools and restaurants, and when they can they will drive you to dinner or the spa themselves by buggy. They also come back to see you off when you leave.
The resort describes this as deliberately less formal than a classic butler service. The idea is that the same person gets to know what you like, so you don't have to repeat your preferences every time.
More than bookings
The concierges are also there to tell you about the island itself: Maldivian culture, the marine life on the reef, and how a resort island makes its own fresh water and electricity and looks after its beaches. If you are curious about what goes on behind the scenes, ask.
Getting there
ananea Madivaru is about 20 minutes from Malé by seaplane. Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so arrival times matter when you book flights. Ask us for a quote and we will check villas and transfer timing for your dates.
