Centara Grand Lagoon, Centara Mirage Lagoon, Machchafushi and Centara Ras Fushi each have their own Diwali programme between 7 and 9 November 2026.
All four Centara resorts in the Maldives are marking the Festival of Lights in early November, each in a slightly different style, so the right pick depends on who you are travelling with.
Resort by resort
- Centara Mirage Lagoon (7–9 November): the family option, with rangoli and creative workshops, Indian-style dining, festive cocktails, Bollywood entertainment and a fire show on the beach. The island also has a water park and lazy river for children.
- Centara Grand Lagoon (7–9 November): arts and crafts, family activities, Bollywood entertainment and an outdoor cinema night.
- Machchafushi (8 November): henna, rangoli, a cocktail class and sunset yoga, then an Indian buffet dinner with Bollywood music.
- Centara Ras Fushi (8 November): adults only, with a biryani dinner on the beach (tandoori dishes and festive sweets included), followed by music and karaoke at the bar.
Getting there
Centara Grand Lagoon, Centara Mirage Lagoon and Centara Ras Fushi are in North Malé Atoll, between about 15 and 40 minutes from the airport by speedboat. Machchafushi is in South Ari Atoll, around 25 minutes by seaplane. Prices for the Diwali dinners have not been announced; we can check what your meal plan covers when you book.
