Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives collected nine prizes at the 2026 World Luxury Awards. Its overwater spa and its FireDOOR restaurant were both named Global Winners.
Grand Park Kodhipparu Maldives in North Malé Atoll has had a strong awards season, picking up nine titles at the 2026 World Luxury Awards. Two of them are global wins rather than regional ones.
The headline awards
The resort's overwater spa was named Global Winner for Best Luxury Island Resort Spa, and also took two Indian Ocean titles for boutique and ocean-view spas. FireDOOR, the resort's fine-dining restaurant set over the house reef, won the global title for Best Sunset Views, plus two Indian Ocean restaurant awards. The resort itself was recognised as Best Luxury Boutique Resort and Best Luxury Lifestyle Resort in the Indian Ocean, and General Manager Raffaele Solferino was named Best General Manager.
What it means for guests
If you stay here, the spa and FireDOOR are the two experiences to plan around. FireDOOR has glass-floor features and faces the sunset, so book a table for your first evenings rather than leaving it to the last night. The spa sits over the water, which makes a treatment there feel like part of the scenery rather than a break from it.
The resort opened in 2017 and will mark its tenth anniversary in 2027.
Getting there
