OZEN LIFE MAADHOO and OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI plan Diwali thali dinners on 8–9 November

Both OZEN resorts in South Malé Atoll are marking Diwali with festive Indian thali dinners on 8 and 9 November 2026, included in their all-inclusive plans.

The two OZEN islands near Malé are putting on Indian festive dinners for Diwali this year, aimed at families who want to celebrate together on holiday rather than at home.

What is on

  • OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, 8 November (7:00–10:30 pm): a Diwali thali with traditional sweets at Tradition Indoceylon, the resort's overwater Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant, which will be dressed with lights, lanterns and flowers for the night.
  • OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI, 8 and 9 November (7:00–10:30 pm): vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis at Saffron, a live chaat counter making dahi bhalla and aloo tikki to order, a welcome drink and live music.

For guests

There is no extra charge to plan for: the dinners come within the INDULGENCE plan at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO and the RESERVE plan at OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI. Both resorts are in South Malé Atoll and are reached by speedboat from Velana International Airport, around 40 minutes to Maadhoo and 35 minutes to Bolifushi, so you can land and be at dinner the same evening.

Diwali week is a popular time for Indian families travelling to the Maldives, so villas for these dates may go quickly. Ask us about Maadhoo or ask us about Bolifushi.
