SO/ Maldives in South Malé Atoll has marked its third anniversary with a new set of SO/ Signature Experiences, from silent discos to floating pickleball, and a 'Your Villa, Your Way' stay with private speedboat transfers and in-villa dining.
SO/ Maldives, the design-led resort in South Malé Atoll, is three years old. It celebrated with a party run together with Rip Curl Maldives and has used the date to launch a new programme of activities.
The new SO/ Signature Experiences
The list includes silent disco nights and Water Drums sessions at Lazuli Frequency, floating pickleball and board games at Lazuli, and afternoon high tea and sunset rituals at the Pavilion Bar. The resort has not published prices for each activity, so ask what is included in your plan.
"Your Villa, Your Way"
A new villa stay adds private speedboat transfers, private dining in the villa, flexible check-in and check-out, and extra privileges that also apply across the restaurants of CROSSROADS Maldives.
More places to eat
SO/ sits within CROSSROADS Maldives, the island group with 17 restaurants and bars, and a free dhoni shuttle links the resort with The Marina and the neighbouring resorts. That gives guests far more choice than a single island usually offers.
For guests
SO/ is about 15 minutes from Velana Airport by speedboat, so there is no seaplane and arrival is easy even late in the day. Plans range from bed & breakfast to all inclusive. Ask us for a quote with or without the new villa package.
